It is a natural oil extracted from the roots by steam distillation. The plants of Fragrant Vetiveria (bot. Vetiveria Zizanoides) from which the essential oil was distilled were grown in Indonesia.

Properties of vetiver essential oil

Vetiver essential oil, extracted from the plant Vetiver fragrant otherwise known as Fingerlings, can have a health-promoting effect by showing anti-stress effects. It also has an antiseptic effect.

Used for aromatherapy:

• for anxiety and stress situations
• relieves arthritic and rheumatic pains
• helps with insomnia and nervous tension

Applied to the skin:

• anti-inflammatory
• for anti-stress massage and bathing to relax muscles
• relaxation and meditation effect

Ways to use Vetiver essential oil

Vetiver essential oil packaging

Vetiver essential oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette for easy dosing of the product. The dark glass protects the oil from light. The larger bottle allows the oil to 'breathe' which is very important for natural essential oils. Vetiver essential oil is sold undiluted.

There is 20ml of oil in the bottle. This is a larger capacity compared to other products on the market. It is an organic essential oil 100%, undiluted with any substances . 

The bottle has a thread suitable for direct connection to the essential oil nebuliser available in our shop.
