What is Bergamot organic essential oil like?

Lilly's Essentials Organic Bergamot Essential Oil is a natural oil extracted from the rind of the fruit by cold pressing. It is an organic product derived from plants grown in pure regions of Italy. The Bergamot Orange (bot. Bergamia) plants, from the fruit of which the organic Bergamot essential oil was pressed, were not in contact with pesticides or other chemical pesticides. They were cultivated in biologically pure areas, which allowed the highest quality of the product to be obtained.

The product is certified with the prestigious COSMOS certification^® dedicated to organic raw materials and cosmetic products.

What properties does Bergamot organic essential oil have? 

Organic Bergamot essential oil, extracted from the peel of the bergamot orange fruit, can have a health-promoting effect by showing antiseptic, tonic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Used for aromatherapy:

• in support of the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections
• calms and relieves anxiety and depression, stress

Applied to the skin:

• deodorising also in case of bad breath
• bladder and external genital infections
• for skin inflammations, seborrhoea, cuts, wounds, acne
• with apathy
• relaxing effect, helping with nervous system tension of various causes also for bathing

How to use Bergamot organic essential oil?

Aromatherapy can be carried out in several ways: 

By adding a few drops of oil to a container filled with water. Use with:

You can also enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy using oils on the skin. 

However, always remember to perform an allergy test. Bergamot essential oil can also be used after dilution in a base-carrier oil. Base carrier oils of very good quality can be found in our shop.

Warning!!! Bergamot organic essential oil is phototoxic.

How is Bergamot organic essential oil packaged?

Bergamot Organic Essential Oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette for easy dosing of the product. The dark glass protects the oil from light. The larger bottle allows the oil to 'breathe' which is very important for natural essential oils. Bergamot organic essential oil is sold undiluted.

There is 20ml of oil in the bottle. This is a larger capacity compared to other products on the market. It is 100% organic essential oil, undiluted with any substances.

The bottle has a thread suitable for direct connection to the essential oil nebuliser available in our shop.

When you buy at least 3 essential oils of your choice, we will pack them in a cotton bag in which they can be stored.
