Natural oil extracted from the rind of the fruit of the Bergamot Orange (bot. Bergamia) plant by cold-pressing grown in Italy.

Properties of bergamot essential oil

Bergamot essential oil, extracted from the rind of the bergamot orange fruit, can have a health-promoting effect by showing antiseptic, tonic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Used for aromatherapy:

• in support of the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections
• calms and relieves anxiety and depression, stress

Applied to the skin:

• deodorising also in case of bad breath
• bladder and external genital infections
• for skin inflammations, seborrhoea, cuts, wounds, acne
• with apathy
• relaxing effect, helping with nervous system tension of various causes also for bathing

ATTENTION: phototoxic for 24 h after application, IFRA unlimited

Ways to use bergamot essential oil

Aromatherapy can be carried out in several ways: 

By adding a few drops of oil to a container filled with water.

However, always remember to perform an allergy test. Bergamot essential oil can also be used when diluted in a carrier base oil.

Bergamot oil packaging

Bergamot essential oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette for easy dosing of the product. The dark glass protects the oil from light. The larger bottle allows the oil to "breathe" which is very important for natural essential oils. Bergamot essential oil is sold undiluted.

There is 20ml of oil in the bottle. This is a larger capacity compared to other products on the market. It is 100% essential oil, undiluted with any substances.

The bottle has a thread suitable for direct connection to the essential oil nebuliser available in our shop.
