Lavender essential oil from Lilly's Essentials range

It is a natural oil extracted from flowers by steam distillation. It is a product derived from flowering plants grown in pure regions of France. The narrow-leaved lavender plants (bot. Lavandula Angustifolia) from which the essential oil was distilled were grown in France.

Properties of lavender essential oil

Lavender essential oil extracted from the narrow-leafed lavender plant can have a health-promoting effect by exhibiting antidepressant, relaxing, insomnia problems, reducing nervous tension, analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, helps heal difficult wounds and varicose veins, stretch marks on the skin.

Used for aromatherapy:

• alleviates depression and anxiety
• calms and relieves nervous tension, also during menopause
• helps with mouth and throat infections and catarrh
• helps with fatigue

Applied to the skin:

• used during relaxation massages 
• in the form of compresses for skin inflammations, scars, stretch marks, cellulite, acne, dandruff and varicose veins,
• as an ingredient in mixtures to support the treatment of mycoses
• relaxing effect, helping with nervous system tension of various causes, also for baths
• has a relaxing effect on the muscles

Ways of using lavender essential oil

Aromatherapy can be carried out in several ways:

You can also enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy by using oils on the skin. Lavender essential oil is one of the few essential oils that can be applied directly to the skin. 

However, always remember to perform an allergy test. You can also use the essential oil after dilution in a carrier oil.

Lavender essential oil pack

Lavender essential oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette for easy dosing of the product. The dark glass protects the oil from light. The larger bottle allows the oil to "breathe" which is very important for natural essential oils. Lavender essential oil is sold undiluted.

There is 20ml of oil in the bottle. This is a larger capacity compared to other products on the market. It is an organic essential oil 100%, undiluted with any substances . 

The bottle has a thread suitable for direct connection to the essential oil nebuliser available in our shop.
