Cinnamon essential oil from Lilly's Essentials range

It is a natural oil extracted from the leaves and twigs by steam distillation. The Ceylon Cinnamomum plants (bot. Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) from which the essential oil was distilled were grown in Sri Lanka.

Properties of cinnamon essential oil

Cinnamon essential oil extracted from the Ceylon Cinnamon plant can have a health-promoting effect by exhibiting antibacterial, antifungal antioxidant properties. It also has antispasmodic effects, relieves discomfort in the urinary tract and intestines, increases libido, and inhibits symptoms of diabetes.

Used for aromatherapy:

• with circulatory disorders
• calms and relieves nervous tension, also during menopause
• helps with mouth and throat infections as well as colds and coughs
• mild aphrodisiac

Applied to the skin:

• antiparasitic (lice, scabies) 
• as a poultice for skin inflammations, warts
• for massage and bathing
• relaxation and meditation effect

Ways of using cinnamon essential oil

Aromatherapy can be carried out in several ways: 

By adding a few drops of oil to a container filled with water. Use with:

You can also enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy by using oils on the skin. Cinnamon essential oil is one of the few essential oils that can be applied directly to the skin. 

However, always remember to perform an allergy test. You can also use the essential oil after dilution in a carrier oil.

Cinnamon essential oil pack

Cinnamon essential oil is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a glass pipette for easy dosing of the product. The dark glass protects the oil from light. The larger bottle allows the oil to 'breathe' which is very important for natural essential oils. Cinnamon essential oil is sold undiluted.

There is 20ml of oil in the bottle. This is a larger capacity compared to other products on the market. It is an organic essential oil 100%, undiluted with any substances . 

The bottle has a thread suitable for direct connection to the essential oil nebuliser available in our shop.
