Method of use: Set the end of the Palo Santo wood on fire, wait for it to take up flame and then blow out the flame. • Risk of fire and burns: A burning Palo Santo wood produces embers and smoke. Never leave a smouldering wood unattended.
• Use on a safe surface: Always place the smouldering wood on the stable, non-combustible and heat-resistant surface (e.g. ceramic bowl, stone, special incense holder).
• Keep away from flammable materials: Make sure there are no curtains, paper, fabrics, furniture or other objects in the vicinity that can easily catch fire.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets: Young children and animals may not understand the dangers of open flames and embers.
• Ensure adequate ventilation: Use Palo Santo in well-ventilated areas to ensure air circulation and avoid excessive smoke build-up.
• Avoid inhaling smoke at close range: Although the aroma is pleasant, direct inhalation of smoke from the burning wood can irritate the respiratory tract.
• Always make sure the wood is fully extinguished: When you have finished using it, make sure the embers are completely extinguished before you put the wood stove away or leave the room. You can gently extinguish the smouldering tip in a safe, non-flammable vessel.
