Hi, my name is Monika. 

My story begins in 2019. My daughter Lila, then 10 years old, came running to me and shouted enthusiastically (being convinced that I WOULD agree): "Let's make a candle!!!". I replied, no longer so enthusiastically: "Are you crazy! We're not going to make any candles, after all, it's paraffin, toxic fumes and you TOTALLY want to burn my house down. NEVER!" I thought about it later: "Such a creative child... You have to let her make a candle for once." And so We went shopping. We bought regular candle refills, a glass container. We melted paraffin wax, added coffee beans on top and a little brocade.

And so it began... And that js I am baaaaaally inquisitive I have started to explore the subject of handmade candles.

And then I discovered plant-based waxes, the world of scents, nature, scrapbooks, scrapbooking and the desire to retain memories through scent. After months of testing different waxes, oils from different parts of the world, I developed my own recipes.

I create gift candles from coconut-morel wax and enrich it with the scent of overpriced premium oils for candle making. To avoid the dangerous substances that are sometimes ingredients in oils, the wooden wicks I use are soaked in a substance patented by a Polish scientist, making the burning process environmentally friendly, without toxic fumes.

The slogan 'candles & memories' and the brand slogan of Lilly's Stories is that I create candles - memories. I discovered that memories have a scent and I want you Dear Customer to discover the same. Believe it! Histories and events in your life really do smell. 

My candles have 'tops' - plugs with small scenes commemorating memories of moments or events. I use natural materials as much as possible to make them: dried plants, wood, paper, vegetable brocade. These tops are both decorative when the candle is not burning and tell a story and evoke memories.

The scent of the candle and the story it tells is meant to inspire you to create that own story and memory, for a particular important event in your life. Preserving it will help Include a card for a craft album, where you can paste photos, draw pictures, paste objects from the event and describe them. Let these be your mini souvenir albums.

In the case of some gift candles (e.g. wedding, birthday), the album can also be a card that can be given with the candle.
